Mariembourg, October 5, 2025 The air above the Mariembourg circuit was filled with tension. It was time for the final round of the IAME Benelux Series 2025.
For Bruce Chirino, everything came down to this: to become IAME mini rookie champion 2025, he had to finish ahead of the drivers with start numbers #923 and #916.
Qualifying from P15 to P4
The weekend started with a challenge. Bruce drew number 15 in the lottery, meaning he had to qualify late in the session.
With laser focus and determination, he delivered a stunning lap and secured P4 overall a strong statement right from the start.
The Heats Smart, Sharp, and Fast
Starting from P4 in the first heat, Bruce drove an impressive race, climbing up to P2 and finishing ahead of both #923 and #916 the two drivers he needed to beat for the championship.
In Heat 2, he took things to the next level. Not only did he finish second again, but he also set the fastest lap time of the entire field, proving his pace and consistency under pressure.
Those results secured him a P2 start position for the final exactly where he wanted to be.
The Final Calm, Fierce, and Mature
The final was intense, lap after lap, corner after corner. Bruce fought hard, keeping a cool head while showing incredible race craft.
He pushed for the win, even challenging for P1 in the closing stages, but deep down he already knew: the championship was his.
Crossing the finish line in P2, Bruce sealed the deal and was crowned IAME Benelux Rookie Champion 2025!
